The rhododendrons were still looking stunning, although different varieties from those flowering a fortnight ago. Dave’s photos are much better than mine but my attempt gives an idea of how many flowers there were.
It’s good seeing things changing in the garden, even in just two weeks so we’ll definitely be back soon, hopefully with a baby in tow. Things are getting pretty crowded inside me right now and I feel enormous - Dave got a good shot this afternoon that I may publish for amusement! We’re both hoping that it arrives fairly soon. I’m feeling quite relaxed now after two weeks on leave and I’m managing lots of walking during the day. Nonetheless, as the temperature rises I’m getting more and more impatient (not that patience has ever been one of my qualities!). Oh well, there’s nothing we can do to speed it up so I’ll just have to find some more work to do or make a few more trips to the gardens to pass the time!
